Marmalade is an original design of mine, OOAK custom designed for my daughter. That’s right, Marm’s not for sale, my daughter is the only owner here. Marmalade is my first ever custom, I’m proud of how she turned out, if not the methods it took to finish her.

Marmalade is displayed on two different sheets of 12″x12″ scrabooking paper(sky and grass) in her model shots. She has a simplified cat face symbol on her flank, which blends into her calico pattern, yes calico(or tortishell with white for our friends across the pond) as Marmalade was made to be a calico cat. She has no mane, and her tail is formed from clay that was baked on to the base.

Bait: G3 Wysteria, bought new just for this project at Wal-Mart(I have vowed to never do this again with new ponies).

Paint: White, Black, and Orange all from Jo-Ann’s Fabrics & Crafts, store brand.

Clay: Translucent Sculpey III clay purchased from Jo-Ann’s Fabrics & Crafts.

“Relay” is a custom repaint of an old and battered original Generation One My Little Pony. “Relay”s repaint is inspired by the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. A grand total of 50% of what I make from selling this OOAK Custom will be donated to the ACS. “Relay” is dedicated to everyone who has been touched by cancer, in any form. She is especially dedicated to the memory of my cousin, who recently lost his battle with cancer.

Custom painted with purple, silver, white, and glow-in-the-dark paint, “Relay” sports a short mane (new growth, “Relay” is a survivor) and long tail re-haired from CustomPony.com’s Eggplant Nylon Hair. “Relay’s” symbol is that of a stylized moon with dotted stars. The moon is outlined with glow-in-the-dark paint, while some of the stars have glow-in-the-dark paint as well.

Yep, I’m going to be condensing the website. All customs will now be posted to the main site, the /customs subsection will be going away.

Other than the customs I’m working on now (”Kiana Kala” and “Ruby Nelka”, see pictures here) I have plans to make customs for four Bella Sara cards, and two new plans.

“Relay” and “Ribbon”, both to raise some money to donate for research.

“Relay” is planned to be a dedication to: those who have had cancer and survived, the families and friends of cancer patients and survivors, and to those we all have lost to cancer. “Relay” will be a purple-silver pony with white details to represent the “Relay For Life” held every year. I have already planned to donate 75% of profits from sale to research.

“Ribbon” will be doing the same, but for Breast Cancer Research in specific. I may make two of these, and give one to my grandmother who is a survivor here.

Pick Your Poison

Idea: Guitar Pick keychains! I have a lot of picks lying around, as I am trying to learn to play the guitar. I have four from the Hot Topic Foundation (they are fifty cents each) and I thought why not make keychains? The original idea stems from a project my fiance helped me with. He took one of my picks and made it into a pendant for me.

If this goes over well I’ll see about putting some up for sale. I do want and desire input, feel free to let me know everything you think about it. I want good and bad reviews, rough critiques, etc…

I’m not afraid of anything you’ve got to through at me.

I guess I’m going to be working slow on this. I’ve got some new product ideas, and am testing them out at the moment. It doesn’t mean much, but hey, at least I’m trying something.

I’ve also picked back up on an old project of mine called “Tiger Girl“. It’s up to working on the fifth chapter at the moment. I’ve also been working on my artwork.
